I've verbally thanked everyone involved in handling Ray's wake and interment but it's always nice to have it in writing. Everyone at Anderson, you, Michael, Kim and Karen did a wonderful job of easing my mind and making the time spent in the parlor a great place for my family to gather. Ray's portrait, family photographs, album, his Ambassador of Peace Gold Medal received for his time in the Korean War were all on display. Also, I had made a collage of the colorings Ray and I did over the past year and a half when Ray could no longer get outside to his favorite swing - just like the one we had in the Bretons yard adjacent to the funeral parlor. This new way of "gathering with family and friends" makes one feel they are in someone's parlor - not a funeral parlor. I know that Ray was right at home - he loved the place! The graphics were outstanding and I loved his soldier picture on the handout for attendees. I miss Ray and I's perch on the second floor porch at 330 Clarendon. For the year and a half before left for Chelsea, it was our spot to look over the goings on at 316. Thank you. P.S. Having Army reps and the inspection and presentation of the flag was really special.Cherie Driscoll October 26, 2018

Brian and his staff provided professional and respectful services for my wife's funeral. Everything from the initial meeting to delivering my wife's ashes to our home was done with the utmost respect and caring. The office staff put together a well thought out program that included pictures and verses that were beyond my expectations.James Araujo, Townsend April 10, 2018
Shortly before my wife passed away I called Brian Anderson and explained that my wife was in the hospital and the doctors only gave her a short amount of time. We had not purchased a cemetery plot or made any kind of advanced funeral arrangements. Brian told me to just be with my wife and to not worry about all the details and to just call him when my wife passed. When I did call Brian he did a great job of walking my children and I through all of the details and we were very pleased with the service he provideStephen Shea, Townsend March 03, 2018
Brian and Karen and the rest of the staff at Anderson’s were simply amazing. They handled my dad’s wake and funeral with care and professionalism, even though it ended up being a much bigger production than we had ever imagined. We can’t thank you enough for the amazing prayer cards, funeral programs, and thank you cards. They all came out beautiful. Whoever attended to my dad also deserves commending. He looked back to his normal self and that gave at least me some relief and peace to see him again as I knew him in life. Thank you guys so much for all the work you did coordinating with the fire dept and the legion for what really turned out to be a fitting tribute to a hero. It meant everything to have my dad honored in that way.Katie Hawthorne, Shirley January 30, 2018

I found myself in a new situation of having to plan a funeral when my husband suddenly died from injuries received due to an automobile accident. Mike was very helpful, informed and comforting. I liked the fact that they had multiple plans listing options and prices. The ladies in the office were very helpful and responsive to my questions. They were very helpful and knowledgeable, too. The funeral is easily accessible on Main St in Townsend MA. They do all they can to help guide and ease the painful process of losing a loved one. Elaine TittemoreElaine Tittemore, December 06, 2017
Michael was such a pleasure to work with. He was very supportive to our requests, and made sure the family was comfortable and understood the process and what to expect. He was always available to answer our questions, and address our concerns. Linda did an amazing job with the program - a minor adjustment was needed and it was taken care of without issue. She put together a playlist of songs we provided to play in the background during the calling hours. She was truly supportive of our needs and took great care with the family. Both Michael and Linda were professional throughout the process, making sure every detail was taken care ofKathryn Clarke December 06, 2017

Brian, as always, the consummate professional. You breezed us through the arrangements, the visitation and service were respectful and thoughtful, and the interment perfect. Thank you from all of us.Jean Taubert August 27, 2018
To me, my family came with issues that erupted during the funeral planning. Brian handled the situation like a pro. The day of the funeral was overwhelming in both emotion and visitors during a limited viewing time. Brian, and his staff, once again were pros. The office help was efficient with programs and cards, even helping us get the paperwork for military honors. My Dad’s only request. Thanks Brian and staff.Kevin Kish June 06, 2018

Mike, Brian and Karen handled our urgent and sensitive situation with dignity and class. The entire ceremony was smooth and went exactly as planned. Everything was taken care of and we really appreciated their efforts. At the time of a death, we look to those around us for support. And even though they are professionals, and this is their job, we never once felt as though we were just another customer. I wish all businesses treated their clients with this level of respect and dignityBrad Sidilau March 02, 2018
Brian, Linda, Karen & the rest of the staff were extremely accommodating, They take a sad & serious situation & make you feel very comfortable while actually putting a smile on your face.
