Cremation Options

Direct Cremation - Option 1

Our Cremation Option 1 is available for families who prefer basic cremation without a formal service.

  • Staffing for initial call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

  • Funeral Director and Staff Services

  • Local Transfer from Place of Death

  • Shelterization and Refrigeration of the deceased

  • Arrangements Conference with Family Member(s) or other Responsible Representative

  • Obtain, Complete and File the Death Certificate

  • Obtain the Burial/Cremation Permit

  • Process Veterans Administration Applications

  • Compose and Submit an Obituary into your Requested Newspaper(s)

  • Coordinate Arrangements with the Medical Examiner & Crematory

  • Place the Deceased in Your Choice of the Required Alternative Container

  • Selection of an Urn of Your Choice

  • Transport Deceased to the Crematory

  • Forward or Deliver Cremated Remains to the Person or Cemetery Accepting


Direct Cremation — Option 2

Our Cremation Option 2 provides for cremation followed by a graveside service.

  • Staffing for initial call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

  • Funeral Director and Staff Services

  • Local Transfer from Place of Death

  • Shelterization and Refrigeration of the deceased

  • Arrangements Conference with Family Member(s) or other Responsible Representative

  • Obtain, Complete and File the Death Certificate

  • Obtain the Burial/Cremation Permit

  • Process Veterans Administration Applications

  • Coordinate Arrangements with the Medical Examiner & Crematory

  • Place the Deceased in Your Choice of the Required Alternative Container

  • Selection of an Urn of Your Choice

  • Transport Deceased to the Crematory

  • Compose and Submit an Obituary into your Requested Newspaper(s)

  • Coordinate all Arrangements with the Cemetery and Officiating Clergy

  • Transport Cremated Remains, Floral Arrangements and Necessary Equipment to the Cemetery

  • Direction of Those Attending the Service










Direct Cremation - Option 3

Providing for Cremation Followed by a Memorial Service
  • Staffing for initial call
  • Transfer from local hospital or nursing home to Funeral Home*
  • Shelterization of the deceased
  • Arrangements conference with family member(s) or other responsible representative
  • Obtain, complete and file the death certificate
  • Obtain the burial/cremation permit
  • Handle arrangements with medical examiner & crematory
  • Fees of the medical examiner & crematory
  • Place the deceased in your choice of the required alternative container
  • Transportation of the deceased to the crematory
  • Compose and submit an obituary into your requested newspapers
  • Handle all arrangements with cemetery and officiating clergy
  • Basic Printed Materials Package: Basic Register Book, Personalized Acknowlegements (50),
    Photo Prayer Cards (50), and Service Programs (75)
  • Use of the funeral home facility and staff for the memorial service

Or

  • A representative from the funeral home will be present to transfer the cremated remains, any floral arrangements and equipment necessary to the church as well as assist in directing those in attendance.

Direct Cremation — Option 4

Providing for a Visitation Period Prior to Cremation
  • Staffing for initial call
  • Transfer from local hospital or nursing home to Funeral Home*
  • Embalming and other preparation
  • Gray cloth covered particleboard cremation oriented casket
  • Arrangements conference with family member(s) or other responsible representative
  • Obtain/file the death certificate and burial/cremation permit
  • Handle arrangements with medical examiner & crematory
  • Fees of the medical examiner & crematory
  • Compose and submit a family approved obituary to the newspaper if requested
  • Transportation of the deceased to the crematory
  • Forward or deliver the cremated remains to the person or cemetery accepting responsibility for final disposition
  • This package is available with either a private visitation or a public visitation. The public visitation includes a Basic Printed
    Materials Package including: Basic Register Book, Photo Prayer Cards (50), and Personalized Acknowlegement Cards (50)

When a Memorial Service or Graveside Service is Also Requested

  • If a Memorial or Graveside Service is requested following cremation, we will coordinate arrangements with others providing service at the memorial service or graveside service; i.e. clergy, cemetery personnel, musicians, monument services, etc.. We will provide a funeral director, assistants and service car at the local memorial service or graveside service to conduct and organize necessary details at the service.
