Michael A. Flaminio, 82, of Pepperell

Pepperell - Michael A. Flaminio, 82, of Pepperell, passed away on Monday evening, March 16, 2026 at his daughter's residence surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Michael was born on December 1, 1943 in Worcester, a son of the late Pasquale and Lenora (Papillo) Flaminio, and was a graduate of North Middlesex Regional High school in Townsend. Michael served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Churchill County. Michael worked at Ft. Devens as a highway supervisor for 28 years and late at Mass Development, prior to his retirement. In retirement he worked part time as a bus monitor for Dee Bus. He was a life member of the Pepperell V.F.W Post 3209. To know Mike was to love him and what you saw with him is what you got. His blunt style was not everyone's cup of tea and you either liked what he said or did not and it did not faze him one way or another. He was a man of his word and punctuality was a must. HIs greatest joys in life were his family and there was not one day that has gone by where he was not with them. From his name sake Christopher Michael with a bond that is unbreakable, he was his biggest fan from the sidelines at one of his sporting events or teaching him how to drive. He was honored to be Christopher's Confirmation Sponsor this past May. His pretty little girl Kiely with stocking her up on candy with her sweet tooth or getting Ryan pretty much every Mickey Mouse when he was little. Mike's favorite spot was sitting on the porch drinking coffee with Marion and counting cars and Sunday dinners were a must and will never be the same. Mike was an avid sports fan especially a diehard Notre Dame Football Fan. His hobbies included coming up with some little contraption to use on whatever idea popped up in his mind. He enjoyed splitting wood and would often help is son in law and could lug those logs like no one’s business. He leaves a son Shawn Flaminio of Templeton ; a daughter, Kristi Justason and her husband Jason, of Pepperell; four grandchildren, Kellie , Christopher, Ryan and Kiely; nephews and nieces, Kim Lalli, Wes Cathcart, Dan Cathcart, Susan Flaminio, Tony Flaminio, Bill Mathieu, Rosanne Mathieu and Charlotte Waters , his dear sister-in-law Pat Flaminio and his former wife and longtime companion, Marion (Kiely) Flaminio of Pepperell. He is predeceased by a brother, John Flaminio, and a sister, Rose Cathcart A graveside service, with military honors, will be held on Saturday, May 16 at 11AM, in St Joseph’s Cemetery, 10 Jersey St., Pepperell. A celebration of life to follow at the Pepperell VFW, 55 Leighton St. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and aid from Beacon Hospice for their care and compassion. Michael will be terribly missed by all and especially by his daughter for his unconditional love and unwavering support.
