Richard M. LaBombard Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

TOWNSEND: Richard M. LaBombard, 62, of Townsend, passed peacefully Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston. He joins his wife of 32 years, Suzanne (Hamel) LaBombard in Heaven, who passed away October 2015. Rich was born in Woburn, February 18, 1959 the son of the late Richard and Mary Anne (Clancy) LaBombard and has resided in Townsend for over 25 years. He was a 1977 graduate of Billerica High School and continued his education at Northeastern University, Boston where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. Rich worked as the Director of Programming at Avnet Inc. in Hollis, NH. He was a member of the Townsend Rod & Gun Club and St. John’s Church. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, grilling and playing his guitar. He was an accomplished knife sharpener and watch collector. But most importantly, he was a devoted, proud father. He leaves his two daughters, Emily G. LaBombard and Katherine A. LaBombard both of Townsend; his sister. Margaret Manca and her husband, Mark of Gardner; his sister in law, Victoria Hamel of Quincy and his nephew, Kevin Hamel of Quincy. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at St. John’s Church, 1 School Street, Townsend. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-7 PM Monday, December 20th at the Anderson Funeral Home, 250 Main Street (Rte 119) Townsend Center.
