Townsend: Townsend: Patricia A. Thomas-Jeanig, 65, of Townsend, died Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home, Worcester after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Thomas -Jeanig was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada, August 17, 1953, a daughter of the late Richard Thomas and Dorothy (Isaac) Thomas Cutter and moved to the Leominster at the age of 7 years. She became a naturalized citizen of the United States of America at the age of 19 years. She moved to Townsend seventeen years ago from Leominster. Mrs. Thomas - Jeanig was a 1971 graduate of Leominster High School and received her Bachelors Degree from Fitchburg State College and later her Masters Degrees in Library Science from Lesley College, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Foer sixteen years, Mrs.Thomas- Jeanig worked as the school librarian at Spaulding Memorial School in Townsend before retiring two years ago. She was a member of the Friends of the Townsend Public Library. She leaves her husband of 38 years, Walter R. Jeanig; two daughters and sons in law, Deborah E. and Ibar Kelley of West Groton, Shelley M. and Jason Beaudoin of East Greenwich, RI; a brother, James Cutter and his wife, Debbie, of Dublin, NH; her sister, Brenda St. Laurent and her husband, Gerard, of Raliegh, NC; five grandchildren, Nicholas Maciel, Olivia Beaudoin, Isaac Beaudoin, Eloise Beaudoin, Andrew Beaudoin; her stepfather, William Cutter of Leominster; four nephews, Troy Cutter, Brian St. Laurent, Michael St. Laurent, Steven St. Laurent and a niece, Alisha Cutter. Mrs. Thomas - Jeanig’s family will receive family and friends from 4-7 Monday, November 26, 2018 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 250 Main Street, (Rte 119) Townsend Center.
