    Marion Pauline (Keyes) Peck

    December 22, 1930 - July 31, 2021

AYER-Marion Pauline Peck (Keyes) 90 years old, of Natick MA, passed away peacefully on Sat night, July 31 in her own apartment at Nashoba Park Assisted Living, in Ayer, MA. Born December 22, 1930 in Hamtramck, MI to the late Cass and Frances Keyes. She met and married her husband Bruce E. Peck Jr., in Hamtramck MI, sweethearts since high school. They lived in Detroit Michigan, Southern California and Arlington MA before settling in Natick, MA where they lived for 25 years and raised a family. She was the wife to her husband for 29 years and a mother of three children and five grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband who passed in 1981, she is survived by two daughters Janice Goodrow of Biddeford, Maine, Monica Farley of Lunenburg, MA and her only son Bruce E. Peck III of Worcester MA. Her sister Marsha Keyes Tucker and lives in Weston, MA. As a young lady in modeling, Marion was a beauty finalist. She was Miss Detroit in 1949 and beauty queen, Miss Television 1950, and in the Miss Miami pageant, singing was her special talent. Marion had a passion for travel and was a travel agent for many years. Her world travel included Poland, Egypt, Caribbean, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Ireland, Mexico as well as many cities throughout the USA. On her trips, she always looked for another cow creamer to add to her extensive collection. Marion loved dogs and owned a cute little miniature pinscher, Minnie for many years. Being the matriarch of the family, Marion was full of good advice and always loved to present special gifts to loved ones. A keen sense of humor and her laugh will be remembered. Most recently, bird-watching became one of her favorite hobbies. The family would like to thank the staff of Nashoba Park Assisted Living Ayer MA and Ascend Hospice Marlborough MA for their efforts in making her final days comfortable. Honoring Marion’s wishes, service and internment are private, for just her family. Services are under the care of Anderson and Son Funeral Home, in Ayer, MA. Any memorial contributions can be made to either the Northeast Animal Shelter https://www.northeastanimalshelter.org or MASS Audubon https://secure2.convio.net/mas/site/Donation2;jsessionid=00000000.app20015b?df_id=3069&mfc_pref=T&3069.donation=form1&NONCE_TOKEN=FBBF75AF9F2A016E7AB5B806B2038FB2
