Marilyn W. (Bennett) Cronin-Sienkiewicz, 69, of Ashby, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday May 25, 2021 with her beloved husband and love of her life, Marty, by her side. Marilyn was born in Melrose on July 26, 1951, a daughter of the late George and Beverly (LeBlanc) Bennett and grew up in Westford graduating from Westford Academy in 1969. In 1975 Marilyn became a dispatcher for the Westford Police and later Fire departments before taking a job as Human Resource Director at Bomar/ Lau Technologies in Acton, where she worked for 19 years. She also worked five years at Joan Fabrics in Lowell before transitioning back to her old roots as a dispatcher for the Ashby Police and Fire Departments where she worked from 2004 until her retirement in 2019. She was an avid writer, and her letters were famous to her family and friends. She enjoyed trips to her favorite place, Plum Island and spending time with her family. She was also a passionate Boston sports fan. She leaves her husband Martin Sienkiewicz of Ashby; two sons, Timothy Hall and is wife Betsy of Westford and David Hall and his Mary Beth of Billerica; a daughter, Tricia Targ and her husband Joe of Westford; her grandchildren, Timothy Hall, Jr., Kameryn Hall, Leah Hall, Natalie Targ, Connor Targ, Rachael Targ and Jacob Targ; her “adopted” grandchildren, Madisen Dillon, Tyler Dillon, John Dillon, Laurie Dillon and Nanna; a brother, Michael Bennett and his wife Carol of Littleton, three sisters, Beverly Perry and her husband Jim of Pensacola, FL, Annie Connell and her husband Jim of Westford and Lisa Davidson and her husband Brad of Dracut; her in-laws, Kevin and Kathy Davis; her former husband, Geoffrey Hall of Westford and several nephews and nieces. A private graveside service will be held for her family in the Glenwood Cemetery in Ashby.
