AYER: Mary Linda (Picard) Ramos, 75 passed away on January 20, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton, MA from Covid-19. Known as Linda to her friends and Da to her family, Linda was a long-time resident of Nashoba Park Assisted Living facility in Ayer. Linda was born in Ayer on September 3, 1945 to Walter F. Picard and Mary (Curran) Picard. She is survived by her daughter Christine and her husband Jason Churchill of Eagle River, Alaska. Linda was close to her sisters, Marcia Sullivan of Shirley and Carol Madigan of Sterling and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Picard. A 1963 graduate of Ayer High School, Linda worked at Brown’s Drug Store in Ayer and New England Telephone and Telegraph, both in Ayer and Fitchburg. She retired as a Hospital Food Service Worker in the Dietary Department at Nashoba Community Hospital. Linda and her sister Carol were members of the Emblem Club, where they had fun together going to meetings and weekend conventions. Linda enjoyed going on bus tours and trips, especially to Foxwood’s Casino with her sisters. She looked forward to holidays and special occasions, so she could catch up with her large, extended family. Services will be 11 Am Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road, Ayer.
