Lena S. (LeBlanc) Galipeault

FITCHBURG: Lena S. (LeBlanc) Galipeault, 94, a lifelong Fitchburg resident passed away Friday, July 16, 2021 at Health Alliance – Leominster Hospital. Her husband, Daniel Galipeault, a machine operator of 30 years at Simond Saw & Steel died in 1991. Mrs. Galipeault was born in Fitchburg, October 14, 1926, a daughter of Alphee and Marie B (Landry) LeBlanc. For thirty years she worked as a stitcher at H. Margolin & Company in Fitchburg. She leaves two sons, Larry Galipeault of Fitchburg, Ronnie Galipeault of Brooksville, Florida; four brothers, Dr. Romeo LeBlanc of Worcester, Yvon “Bo” LeBlanc of Florida, Joseph “Nel” LeBlanc of Fitchburg, Robert "Bird" LeBlanc of Plymouth; two sisters, Jeanette Salerno of Fitchburg and Gloria Forgues of Alabama; three grandchildren, Sarah, Danny and Amy Galipeault along with two great grandchildren, Paige and Adelyn Galipeault. She was the sister of the late Ronald “Pete” LeBlanc, Edgar "Gee" LeBlanc, Alfred "Fay" LeBlanc, Paul "Leo" LeBlanc, Roger "Fat" LeBlanc and Bertha Maki. Funeral services and interment will be held privately here in Fitchburg. The Isabelle & Anderson Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon Street, Fitchburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
