Laraine E. Flynn Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

FITCHBURG-Laraine E. (Erler) Flynn, 79, of Fitchburg, passed away Sunday evening, November 28, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Fitchburg on October 29, 1942, a daughter of the late Raymond and Edna (Casey) Erler. She was a 1961 graduate of Fitchburg High School. Laraine worked for the Internal Revenue Service in Fitchburg for 22 years prior to her retirement in 2009. She adored her cat Scooter, enjoyed watching the Game Show Network, doing word puzzles, and attending to her extensive butterfly collection. She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. She leaves two sons, Kade Flynn of Lanesborough and Michael Flynn and his longtime companion Sheila Beane of Gardner; a sister, Barbara Leger and her husband Eugene of Fitchburg; three grandchildren, Keira Thurlow and her husband Jason, Cody Flynn and his partner Daniel Kalogeropoulos, and Mikey Flynn; and great-granddaughter, Leighton Thurlow. A service will be held in the Pieta Chapel in St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11AM. There are no calling hours.
