Kisoon "Kim" Holloway Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

AYER: Kisoon “Kim” Holloway, 83, of Ayer died Sunday, August 29, 2021. Mrs. Holloway was born in South Korea, March 23, 1938 and has resided in Ayer for over 60 years. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Church in Ayer and was a faithful contributor to its annual Lawn Party. Kim was a generous person who loved the company of friends and family. She enjoyed playing bingo but what she enjoyed most was time with her grandchildren and loving them fiercely. Kim was known for the delicious Korean dishes at both church fairs and her restaurant. She had an infectious smile, loved to dance and was loved by so many. Her husband, James R. Holloway passed away in November 2010. She leaves her son, James R. Holloway Jr. of Shirley; two daughters, Debra K. Holloway of Shirley, Annette Ladd of Little Compton, R, Tammy Palmer of Macon, GA; her brother, Edward Kim of Billerica; her sister, Ki Pun Pang of Ayer; six grandchildren, Adam Forest, Grace Forest, Joshua Ladd, Ali Ladd, JR Palmer, Veronica Palmer and two great grandchildren, Tyler Palmer, and Rylee Palmer. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, September 3, 2021 at St. Anthony’s Church, 14 Phoenix Street, Shirley. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ayer. Mrs. Holloway’s family will receive family and friends at calling hours Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 4-7 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road, (Rte 2A) Ayer.
