Kevin C. Ovaska Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

TOWNSEND: Kevin C. Ovaska, 65, of Townsend, died Sunday, January 24, 2021 at University of Massachusetts – Memorial Hospital, Worcester after a period of declining health. Kevin was born in Leominster, April 22, 1955 a son of Eunice (Howard) Tremblay and the late John T. Ovaska Sr. and was a lifelong Townsend resident. He was a 1973 graduate of North Middlesex Regional High School in Townsend. Kevin was a talented heavy equipment operator and for thirty five years worked as a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 4 in Boston. In addition to his mother of Leominster, Kevin leaves his son, Jacob Ovaska of Townsend; his brother and sister in law, John and Ellen Ovaska of South Carolina; his sisters, Nancy Sullivan and her husband George of Townsend, Susan Young and her husband Gordon of Gorham, N.H., Linda Holman of Milford, NH and several nieces and nephews. Private Funeral services will be at a time and day to be announced. A celebration of life will be at a later date to be announced due to Covid. The Anderson Funeral Home, 250 Main Street, Townsend Center is assisting the family with arrangements.
