    January 19, 1992 - December 14, 2018

    Brookline, NH: Jonathan "Nate" Elwin Vermette Cole, 26, formerly of Barre and Washington, Vermont died Friday, December 14, 2018. Jonathan was born in Richmond, Virginia, January 19, 1992, the son of Timothy R. Cole and Donna R. “Dee” (Eagles) Joki and attended Washington (VT) Village School, Spaulding High School, Barre, VT and Williamstown High School, Williamstown, VT. In addition to his father of St. Johnsbury, VT and his mother of Brookline, NH Jonathan leaves his girlfriend, Ezra Denial of Montreal, Quebec, son, Noah J. Whiting of Plainfield, VT; daughter, Hailey Rose Delary of Northfield, VT; siblings, Travis R. Cole of Tennessee, Andrew A. Vermette, Jessica L. Vermette and stepfather, Vince Vermette; grandparents, Armond and Linda Vermette; Brandon Smith and stepmother Kim Cole all of Vermont; stepfather, David Joki of Brookline, NH; maternal grandmother, Gail Eagles of Claremont, NH; paternal grandmother, Ruth Ann Cole of St. Johnsbury, VT; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. As a youth Jonathan enjoyed reading books, writing rap songs and taking karate lessons. In recent years he traveled the Eastern U.S. with his dog, Kona, making numerous friends from Vermont to Louisiana, last residing in Montreal Quebec. Funeral services will be held 11 Am Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Brookline Chapel, 36 Main Street, Brookline, NH. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, 14 Pepperell Rd, Brookline. Calling hours are 4-7PM Friday, December 28th at the Anderson Funeral Home, 250 Main Street (Rte 119) Townsend Center.
