John E. Tuttle

AYER- John E. Tuttle, 73 of Ayer, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer. Born in Boston on January 30, 1948, John was one of two children, born to the late Theodore E. and Margaret (Cristofono) Tuttle. A passionate numismatist, John enjoyed collecting, trading, educating and sharing his love for coins. He was a loving and caring man who would give you the shirt off his back. John always made the time to put his family and friends first before himself. John is lovingly survived by his wife, Cynthia (Metcalf) Tuttle; his daughters, Misty Tuttle of Ayer, and her significant other Derek Shorey of Shirley; Lydia Tuttle and her husband Jeff Pryor of Maine; his sister, Ann Tuttle of Littleton; brother-in-law Melvyn Metcalf and his wife Faith of Hawaii; Cheryl Ann Metcalf and her husband of Pepperell; grandfather to Alexis and 3 other grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road, Ayer, Massachusetts.
