Jeannette Marie Begnoche

FITCHBURG-Jeannette Marie (LeBlanc) Begnoche, 91, formerly of Leominster passed away Sunday morning, December 19, 2021, in the River Terrace Healthcare Center in Lancaster. She was born in Fitchburg on July 29, 1930, a daughter of the late Osibe and Anna (Caissey) LeBlanc and was a lifelong resident of Fitchburg before moving to Leominster in 2007. Jeannette worked as a dietician at the former Mt. Elam Nursing Home for 21 years retiring in 1988. She was a former member of the Madonna of the Holy Rosary Parish in Fitchburg and later belonged to Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Leominster and St. Boniface Parish in Lunenburg. Jeanette was always trying to better herself by going to night classes where she became skilled at cake decorator and cross stitching and was proud to later earn her G.E.D. Her husband of 56 years, Philip H. Begnoche, died in 2009. She leaves two daughters; Diane Brennan of Hubbardston and Nancy Ann Moser of Butler, PA; one son, Wayne Begnoche of North Smithfield, RI; a brother, Raymond LeBlanc of Fitchburg; three grandchildren, Jillian Brennan of Hubbardston, Patrick Brennan of Natick and Tyler Begnoche of NY, NY and several nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her five sisters, Mary Dauphinais, Rita Robichaud, Ida Pichette, Theresa Arsenault and Yvonne Mitchell and a brother, Gerard LeBlanc. A memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM in St. Boniface Church, 817 Massachusetts Ave., Lunenburg. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Isabelle & Anderson Funeral Home 316 Clarendon St., Fitchburg is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114 or the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
