Frederick Lawrence Churchville

Frederick L. Churchville, 35, passed away unexpectedly on August 13th, 2024 at his home in Nashua, NH. He was born in Concord, MA on April 19th, 1989 and raised in nearby Townsend. He attended Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, NH and graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 2012 with a degree in Journalism. He worked at TechTarget for over a decade, earning multiple promotions which allowed him to achieve the position of Senior Site Editor. Fred was intelligent, kind, and possessed a wonderful sense of humor that was infectious to all who knew him. These qualities helped him to forge strong, lifelong friendships. He enjoyed snowboarding, golfing, hiking, biking, playing video and board games, and attending sporting events with friends. Fred had a natural inclination for music, playing the flute and piano in his childhood and learning guitar and keyboard in his teenage years, crafting and sharing playlists, and attending concerts and festivals with loved ones. He had an artistic eye and enjoyed visiting various art museums. Fred also enjoyed travelling, visiting many destinations including Japan, Costa Rica, Honduras, Puerto Rico, and St. Thomas. Fred is survived by his wife, Lauren (Knight) Churchville, his mother Gretchen (Matthews) Churchville and his father Dr. Lawrence A. Churchville III, both of Townsend, MA as well as many friends and relatives. Fred is pre-deceased by his grandparents, Dr. Lawrence A. Churchville II and Jane Churchville, both of Townsend, and Frederick and Phyllis Matthews of Nova Scotia, Canada. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday August 22, 2024 between the hours of 4 and 7 PM at Anderson Funeral Home at 250 Main Street – Rte. 119 in Townsend, MA. A funeral mass will be held at 10 AM on Friday, August 23rd, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Church, followed by burial at the Hillside Cemetery, both in Townsend. Reception to follow at the Congregational Church Fellowship Hall, 3 Brookline St. off of the Townsend Common
