Edward L. White Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Harvard: Edward L. White, 72, of Harvard, formerly of Arlington, died Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Parmenter Hospice House, Wayland. Mr. White was born in Boston, March 11, 1943 a son of Raymond A. and Helen (Manning) White and has resided in Harvard for over 40 years. He was a 1960 graduate of Newman School for Boys in Boston and then continued his education at Stonehill College in North Easton where he received his B.A. in English. He later attended Northeastern University in Boston where he received his Masters Degree also in English. For three decades, Mr. White worked at Draper Laboratories in Cambridge retiring in 2005 at the position of configuration manager. He attended Holy Trinity Parish in Harvard. He leaves his wife of 49 years, Virginia I. (Golden) White and his brother, Robert M. White of Arlington. A funeral Mass was celebrated 11 am Saturday, October 31st at Holy Trinity Parish worshipping at St. Theresa, the Little Flower Church, Route 110, 15 Still River Road, Harvard. Friends and relatives met at the church. Burial was held private. There were no calling hours. The Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road, Ayer assisted the family with arrangements.
