Mr. Anderson was born in Westborough, November 16, 1926, a son of John W. and Laura (Tomlin) Anderson. During WW II he served his country in the United States Army. For over 30 years he worked as a supply clerk in the table of distribution and allowances (TDA) supporting the United States Army at Fort Devens. He retired in 1981. Mr. Anderson was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church in Shirley as well as a member of the Holy Name Society there. He was a former member of the Shirley Volunteer Fire Department and had served as an assessor in the Town of Shirley. He leaves two sons, Edward L.B. Anderson, Jr. and his wife, Karen, of Brookfield. Elliot W. Anderson of San Francisco, CA; a daughter, Maureen N. Anderson of Templeton; two grandchildren, Benjamin Anderson and Lauren Anderson. He was the brother of the late Nellie Anderson and John Anderson both of Westboro.
