Dianne E. (Hussey) Knox

TOWNSEND: Dianne E. (Hussey) Knox, 80, of Townsend, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 31, 2022 at her home. Dianne was born in Manchester, NH, September 2, 1942, the daughter of Byron B. and Evelyn H. (Welch) Hussey and was a lifelong resident of the Townsend & Pepperell area. She was a 1960 graduate of North Middlesex Regional High School in Townsend. Dianne worked many years in the North Middlesex Regional High School cafeteria and the last twenty five years as the Food Service director for the entire district. She also worked forty years at the Townsend House Restaurant and had also worked at the former Modern Restaurant and Green Ridge Turkey Farm both in Nashua, NH. She leaves four sons, Keith R. Knox and his wife, Suzanne, of New York, Stephen B. Knox and his wife, Donna, of Townsend, Daniel E. Knox and his wife, Kim, of New Ipswich, NH, Michael J. Knox of Hadley; her brother and sister in law, John and Margaret Hussey of Falmouth; three grandchildren, Tamara Knox, Christopher Knox and Jacob Knox and three great grandchildren, Kailey Mae, Ava & Ivy. Funeral services will be held privately. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. The Anderson Funeral Home, 250 Main Street, Townsend center is assisting the family with arrangements.
