Daniel J. Forrest Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

TOWNSEND: Daniel J. Forrest, 78, formerly of Townsend died Wednesday at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington, NC. He was born in Everett, Massachusetts, the son of the late John Albany and Marion (MacDonald) Forrest. Dan was an avid hunter for many years and enjoyed country music for much of his life. He was a wonderful man with a fantastic sense of humor who impacted the lives of anyone that met him. Daniel is survived by his wife of 31 years, Helen (Brough) Forrest; daughters, Cheryl Dubois and husband, Rock, Cindy Laurin, Paula Nash and her husband, David all of Townsend, Debra Brooks-Hayes and boyfriend, Ronald Wright of Hudson; sons, John Forrest and wife, Monika of Lunenburg, Daniel Ward Dubick and wife, Debra of Framingham; his sister, Marion Frances Sweeney of Lowell; his brothers, Edwin Forrest and wife, Elizabeth of Clayton, NC, Paul Forrest and wife, Gail of Wilmington, John Forrest and wife, Roberta of Venice, FL; grandchildren, Jennifer Ravellette, Alice Ravellette, Samantha Nash, Michael Nash, Danielle Martinez, Kyle Forrest, Garrett Forrest, Brittney McCue, Elizabeth Dworkin, Victoria Brooks, Jake Hayes and Ben Hayes; as well as many great grandchildren with more on the way. In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his daughter, Dorothy Ravellette; sons, David Dubick, Douglas Dubick, Son-in-law George J. Laurin and his first wife, Alice Forrest. The family will meet at the Anderson Funeral Home, 250 Main St., Townsend, MA. on Wednesday June 17, 2020 at 1pm. Burial to follow at the Hillside Cemetery in Townsend at 2pm. The Anderson Funeral Home, 250 Main Street, Townsend center is assisting the family with arrangements.
