Camille J. Goguen Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

FITCHBURG / TEMPLETON - Camille J. Goguen, 74 of Fitchburg and Templeton, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 19, 2022. Born in Moncton, raised in Port Elgin New Brunswick,Canada on April 23, 1948, Camille was one of ten siblings born to the late Alphee and Delia (Richard) Goguen. He moved to Fitchburg Massachusetts when he was 13. He graduated from St. Bernard's Central Catholic high school and proudly served the United States Army; serving overseas during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge, Camille worked as a Welder at Simonds Saw in Fitchburg for 42 years. Camille will always be remembered as a man of deep faith, a devoted husband and father who was passionate for antique cars. In addition to his parents, Camille was predeceased by his sisters, Theresa Vautour, and Sr. Marie Rose Goguen; his brothers, Charles Goguen, Ovila Goguen, Leo Goguen, Laurie Goguen and Valmont Goguen. Camille is lovingly survived by his wife of 39 years Nancy M. (Beauchemin) Goguen; his son, Matthew R. Goguen and his life partner, Jennifer Boudreau and her children, Alicia and Kayla, all of Templeton; his brothers, Gerry Goguen and Robert Goguen of Canada; and many nieces and nephews also survived by his cherished grand-dog, Ferris. A Mass of Christian Burial for Camille will be celebrated on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11:00 am in St. Bernard Parish, 333 Mechanic Street, Fitchburg. Relatives and friends are invited to Calling Hours on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 4 to 7 pm in Isabelle and Anderson Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon Street, Fitchburg. Interment will be held in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Camille’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
