Michele Y. (Martinage) Malcolmson

TOWNSEND: Michele Y. (Martinage) Malcolmson, age 59, of Townsend, MA., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was born in Everett, MA., on February 12, 1964. Michele was a daughter of the late Florence A. (Fitzpatrick) Taylor and Paul H. Martinage, Sr. She was a graduate of Chelmsford High School, class of 1982, and attended Fitchburg State College. Michele was a volunteer for the Pepperell Auxiliary Police for several years. Her most recent job was in sales with IMA North America in Leominster. Prior to that she held an inside sales position at Laser Services in Westford, was a Senior Technician at Radio Med in Tyngsboro, Operations Manager with TD Systems in Northborough, and many years ago, a technician with Raytheon in Lowell. Michele was a dedicated and adored mother and beloved wife who was always there for others. She was the backbone of her family and extended family, bringing them together for cookouts, poker games, beach trips, bowling, vacations, and concerts. She especially liked Andy Grammer and Pink and had an uncanny ability to win concert tickets. She was the life of every party with her contagious smile, laughter, and kindheartedness. Her love of music shined through whether going to shows or attempting Karaoke. She made friends easily with her ability to make people feel at ease and laugh with her. She loved being poolside with her family and friends. Everybody was in awe with her superior horseshoe and cornhole skills. She was always on the go, but while relaxing, Michele enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and binging shows with her husband. Michele is survived by her husband, Mark S. Malcolmson, who she married on 11-11-11; son, Aaron N. Roop and his wife Becca (Heisler) Roop; son, Mathew D. Roop and his fiancé, Felicia Lorette; five grandsons, Gavin Roop, Benjamin Roop, Carter Reardon, Owen Roop, and Ryder Roop; brother, Paul H. Martinage, Jr. and his wife, Sandra; brother, David C. Martinage and his wife, Cj; brother, Robert K. Martinage, and sisters Susan M. Weber and Nancy M. Martinage, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Michele’s family will be holding a memorial visitation on December 2, 2023, from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home, 250 Main Street (Rte 119), Townsend Center. www.andersonfuneral.com.
