Corey A. Beals

ASHBY: It is with deep sorrow to announce the passing of Corey A. Beals, 30, of Ashby, Massachusetts on December 13, 2022 while surrounded by his loving family. Corey was born in Leominster, MA on March 28, 1992 to the proud parents of Gary and Wendy Beals and was a lifelong resident of Ashby. Corey was a 2010 graduate of Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School where his focus of trade was plumbing. Corey currently worked at Revision Energy providing solar energy to residencies and commercial applications. He was licensed in HVAC and oil burner repair and was currently a candidate for electrical licensing. Corey was an Eagle Scout from Troop #27 Ashby and a retired member of the Ashby Fire Dept. Corey was deeply committed to his family and his fiancé, Ashley Doran, with whom he was looking forward to starting their life together in their new home. Corey was a loving father to his amazing son, Connor Sackos, of Pepperell. These two had a bond like no other with the same sense of humor, looks, and loving style. Corey also leaves behind his best friend, his brother Aaron Beals. Not a day went by where these two were not in some communication with each other cracking jokes or just being there for each other with their strong brotherly bond. Corey also leaves behind his parents Gary A. Beals and Wendy L. (Carignan) Beals. Corey worked with his father from a young age. Their work and father son bond was incredible as well as the bond with his mother with whom he liked to tease jokingly and then quickly follow up with a quick "I love you ma!" Corey also leaves behind his maternal grandparents of Ashby, William and Lucille Carignan and his paternal grandparents Donald and Patricia Beals. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends as well as his future in-laws Tom and Deborah Doran of Reading and their son Jared. Corey was predeceased by his favorite uncle Craig with whom we know he is laughing with and having a reunion drink with as we speak. Corey loved being around his family and friends where he was the life of the party with all of his jokes and laughter. Corey was the strongest person we ever knew and will be missed every single day. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 250 Main Street (Rte 119) Townsend center. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Ashby. Corey’s family will receive relatives and friends at calling hours 4-7 Tuesday December 20th at the funeral home.
