“You’re in the arms of the angels, may you find some comfort here” - Sarah McLaughlin MASON, NH: It is with hearts both heavy and grateful, we announce the peaceful passing of Caryl A. Tourison on May 1st, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. Caryl lived a life steeped in selflessness, giving, and quiet strength. A devoted wife, mother, nana, sister, and friend, she sowed beauty in the world- through her actions, her words, and the lives she touched. Born in Lowell MA, she resided in Mason NH with her husband and dogs, after raising her children in Lunenburg MA. A lover of angels, the beach, and motorcycles, Caryl was the kind of person who would hide a note for you to find, give a gift to a stranger, and who would remind you to be kind. She was also childlike and playful, and would find joy in laughter and being silly. One of her life’s greatest joys was becoming a Nana to her grandson and being a huge part of his life and experiences. It will bring her great joy when he is able to beat his dad at a game of Canasta. She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Robert E. Tourison, her daughter Jennifer Annand and spouse David Annand, her son Christofer LaTouche, spouse Robin LaTouche and their son Isaac LaTouche, brother Marcel Simard Jr., and sisters Cheryl Simard and Kathleen Capone. Caryl was the daughter of the late Marcel and Gloria Simard and a sister of the late Deborah Chisholm.
