Cremation Options

Direct Cremation — Option 1

 Basic Cremation Without Additional  Service

  • Staffing for initial call
  • Transfer from local hospital or nursing home to Funeral Home*
  • Shelterization of the deceased
  • Arrangements conference with family member(s) or other responsible representative
  • Obtain, complete and file the death certificate
  • Obtain the burial/cremation permit
  • Handle arrangements with medical examiner & crematory
  • Fees of the medical examiner & crematory
  • Place the deceased in your choice of the required alternative container
  • Transportation of the deceased to the crematory
  • Compose and submit an obituary into your requested newspapers

 

Direct Cremation — Option 2

Providing for Cremation with a Graveside Service

  • Staffing for initial call
  • Transfer from local hospital or nursing home to Funeral Home*
  • Shelterization of the deceased
  • Arrangements conference with family member(s) or other responsible representative
  • Obtain, complete and file the death certificate
  • Obtain the burial/cremation permit
  • Handle arrangements with medical examiner & crematory
  • Fees of the medical examiner & crematory
  • Place the deceased in your choice of the required alternative container
  • Transportation of the deceased to the crematory
  • Compose and submit an obituary into your requested newspapers
  • Handle all arrangements with cemetery and officiating clergy
  • A representative from the funeral home will be present to transfer the cremated remains, any floral arrangements and equipment necessary to the cemetery as well as assist in directing those attending service.

 

Direct Cremation — Option 3

Providing for Cremation Followed by a Memorial Service

  • Staffing for initial call
  • Transfer from local hospital or nursing home to Funeral Home*
  • Shelterization of the deceased
  • Arrangements conference with family member(s) or other responsible representative
  • Obtain, complete and file the death certificate
  • Obtain the burial/cremation permit
  • Handle arrangements with medical examiner & crematory
  • Fees of the medical examiner & crematory
  • Place the deceased in your choice of the required alternative container
  • Transportation of the deceased to the crematory
  • Compose and submit an obituary into your requested newspapers
  • Handle all arrangements with cemetery and officiating clergy
  • Basic Printed Materials Package: Basic Register Book, Personalized Acknowlegements (50),
    Photo Prayer Cards (50), and Service Programs (75)
  • Use of the funeral home facility and staff for the memorial service

Or

  • A representative from the funeral home will be present to transfer the cremated remains, any floral arrangements and equipment necessary to the church as well as assist in directing those in attendance.

 

Direct Cremation — Option 4

Providing for a Visitation Period Prior to Cremation

  • Staffing for initial call
  • Transfer from local hospital or nursing home to Funeral Home*
  • Embalming and other preparation
  • Gray cloth covered particleboard cremation oriented casket
  • Arrangements conference with family member(s) or other responsible representative
  • Obtain/file the death certificate and burial/cremation permit
  • Handle arrangements with medical examiner & crematory
  • Fees of the medical examiner & crematory
  • Compose and submit a family approved obituary to the newspaper if requested
  • Transportation of the deceased to the crematory
  • Forward or deliver the cremated remains to the person or cemetery accepting responsibility for final disposition
  • This package is available with either a private visitation or a public visitation. The public visitation includes a Basic Printed
    Materials Package including: Basic Register Book, Photo Prayer Cards (50), and Personalized Acknowlegement Cards (50)

When a Memorial Service or Graveside Service is Also Requested

  • If a Memorial or Graveside Service is requested following cremation, we will coordinate arrangements with others providing service at the memorial service or graveside service; i.e. clergy, cemetery personnel, musicians, monument services, etc.. We will provide a funeral director, assistants and service car at the local memorial service or graveside service to conduct and organize necessary details at the service.

 

Simplicity Plan ~ Cremation 

 ”For Cost Conscious Families who are available for a Weekday Service”

  • Selection of a Cremation Designed Wood Casket
  • Selection of a Basic Wood or Metal Urn
  • Funeral Director Staff & Services
  • Local Transfer from Place of Death*
  • Preparation of the Deceased
  • Use of Facilities for  1 Hour Visitation Period prior to the Funeral Service (Monday – Friday)
  • Coordination and direction of the Funeral at your Church or in our Funeral Chapel
  • Local Funeral Coach as well as Transportation to the Crematory
  • All Crematory & Medical Examiner Fees
  • Sedan for Pall Bearers & Service Vehicle
  • Stationary Package Including: Basic Register Book , Photo Prayer Cards (50), Service Programs (75) ,
    and Personalized Acknowledgement Cards (50)  
  • Veteran Tributes
    Contact Appropriate Service Branch to provide Military Honors

* In those instances where additional staff member(s) are required to transfer the deceased, an additional fee of $ 125./staff member will be added to your statement.  For those instances when a Saturday service is the only option please add  $ 295.00.
