Richie had a great sense of humor, he used to purchase pool chemicals at the pool store I managed & most times the bill was higher than the nominal cash in his wallet so he always had to use his “hidden” $100.00 set aside for golf. We both always got a chuckle over that. Sometimes he would phone his order in & I would deliver as we lived on the same street. A wonderful, wonderful person.
My sincere condolences to his family.

We’ve known Richie for so many years, we can hardly remember back that far. Phil, from his association with the Townsend Police Department. Richie had the most wonderful sense of humor–always a laugh with him, even when we spoke with him last fall. He was on his way to play golf!!!
Noreen and family, we send our deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your husband, father, brother, uncle, and such a great guy. We know you will all miss him terribly, but always remember him by his great smile and enthusiastic personality.

I met Richie several years ago at Town-Sun Tanning, where I also met his wonderful daughter Wendy. Later, I had the pleasure of catching up with him again at Nashoba Vally Fitness Center. He always had a hug as big as his smile for me.
The night sky will be a little brighter from now on with his star shining down upon us.
My heart goes out to your family. Richie, you were one in a million and now, rest easy my friend.

Shirley and I will miss you very much. It was always a pleasure when we would get together for family parties to see you. You brightened up the day with your sincere smile, hug and handshake. I know Sean loved you very much as did Becky, Rachel and Dylan. They all loved to be with Grampie. You were a special father to Sean. I know how hard it was for him and Becky at the end but it was truly a blessing you two were together and shared the end with each other. Rest in peace Rich I will be there for Sean, Becky and the kids as you would have been for me.

One of the truly nicest man I have met. A gentleman, a raconteur, a humorist and a hell of an iron player….
We will miss his happy smile and I especially will miss those jelly donuts he had to pay me when I won our bets.
Love to the family and that special Noreen.

God Bless you Richie. We will always remember your smile and generous nature. You were an important member of the Old Bucks Golf and Bowling Group. Now you will find out whether Jesus used a 5 iron or a 5 wood to get across that ancient pond in his monumental match with Moses. Remember “Arnie Palmer would use the 5 iron”. Take care, Love, Bobby R.(See you at the big club in heaven)

We Old Bucks will miss Rich so much on the golf course and the bowling alley. He was such a good friend, always cheerful and companionable. He was a pleasure to be with. He put up a courageous battle against his illness, but never did it affect his wonderful personality. Rest in peace, Rich. Keep up your courage, Noreen.

I am so sorry to hear that Richard has passed away. My prayers are with your family. I will miss seeing Richard coming into the McNabb Pharmacy with the wonderful smile he always had. He always asked how everyone was doing and will miss all the conversations of how he was on his way to go golfing, that it was a wonderful sunny day to just that.
