Leo J. Lessard

Leominster: Leo J. Lessard, 78, 27 State Street, died Friday, February 3, 2012, at St. Francis Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Worcester.

Mr. Lessard was born in Montpelier, Vermont, July 9, 1933, a son of Edmund and Aurora (Gobeil) Lessard and resided many years in Torrington and Bristol Connecticut before moving to this area in 1996.

He leaves his wife, Loretta J. (Leger) Lessard of Leominster, two daughters, Yvonne Lessard of Leominster, Susan Wolford of Flomanton, Alabama; a brother. Lucien Lessard of Bristol. CT; three sisters, Helena Brunelle and Theresa Albert both of Bristol, CT, Claire Douglas of Kissimmee, Florida. He also leaves three grandchildren.

For 37 years Mr. Lessard worked as an oil burner technician at Kelly Fuel Company in Torrington, CT.

Arrangements

Funeral arrangements are private. There are no calling hours. The Louis M. Isabelle Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon Street, Fitchburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
