Jeff, my condolences to your family. The world has lost a kind soul. You now join the rest of our DEC/HP family in heaven. It was my honor and pleasure to work with you all those years. I don’t think it would have been so much fun without you. So with a heavy heart, I bid you farewell. Not goodbye, we’ll see each other again. Of that I’m sure. Love you! Shari

It is with sadness that I am writing this to Jeff’s family. I had the pleasure of working with Jeff back in the DEC/Compaq/HP days. Jeff loved to share stories of his ongoing interests (camping, travel, geneology). He was never at a loss for something to talk about. May you rest in peace, Jeff.

So many fond memories of playing army with Jeff, David, and Robert. Sledding on Coolidge Road, playing hide and seek, playing with the really neat Matchbook type trucks [English made I think]. If you tickled Jeff he would wet his pants.

As we got older we had great fun times at the beach–the haunted house. I always enjoyed Jeff sharing his pictures and always got a kick out of how excited he got showing them off.

Aw Jeff, I’m so sorry you had to leave.

Jeff enriched our lives for many years. A common interest in sharing our family history got us together initially. Several visits to the UK followed over the years. He was so generous, loving, caring, interesting and fun to be with. The highlight for me has got to be the two trips we did together to the D-Day beaches in France. We will all really miss him.

I fondly remember the time Jeff and I went to the Titanic exhibit and how exciting it was to learn so much about the event, even meeting the last known survivor there. He always had the right stuff to bring on a camping trip. I enjoyed the bike trips he led in Ayer. The last trip I saw him on was the cross country ski trip at Windblown last year. He had a lot of enthusiasm, loved life, and left us all richly blessed in some special way. He is dearly missed and it will be a happy day in the Kingdom when we see each other again. May God comfort all his loved ones and his memory continue to be with all of us.

Dave, Tina, Eric, Erin, Keith and the entire Maxwell Family,

We are so sorry to hear of Jeff’s passing. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this very difficult time. It’s sometimes hard to understand why someone so young is called home to the Lord, but hopefully it brings some comfort knowing he is in a better place now.

It was a true pleasure to have gotten to know Jeff during the fun times I got to spend with the “Maxwell Gang” at York Beach! We know you have many fond memories of Jeff that will hopefully help to ease some of your pain and sorrow.

Even though distance keeps us apart, please know we will be with you in spirit.

    Love,

    Pam, Duane, Kara and Kevin

Peace to you my cheery bicycling friend. You will be missed and each time I see a British flag “mini” Cooper and taste English shortbread, I will be reminded of you.

Prayers to your family as they continue on in your absence. May the Lord give them strength knowing that you didn’t have to suffer so.

Rest in peace, my friend. You brought so much happiness to others with your happy outlook — you reminded me of the cheerful Englishman in “My Fair Lady” singing the song, “With A Little Bit of Luck.” I am forever indebted to you for being the instrument God used to introduce me to so many other wonderful friends at the Concert of Prayer group that had been meeting practically down the street from my home for many years and give me the privilege of serving with them. May God comfort us all in our great loss and strengthen us with your memory and the hope of being together once more, never to be separated again. We love you, Jeff.

The Queen has lost her biggest fan! I can still see you wearing your black derby hat representing the King’s Speech at the Oscars (party by Nick that is). Your shortbread of great renown, somehow seemed to fit the ‘bill’ at every Oscar party. Come to think of it, at every Yankee Swap too! Didn’t we just figure out after 20 something years we are related? Now who will I talk genealogy with that won’t fall asleep? Your presence was always felt my friend and now shalt always be missed.
    God rest ye merry soul!

    Jeff,

Thank you for all of the laughs we have shared in the past, “Calls are in the queue guys!”. You are now riding your bike to the most beautiful place ever. Rest in peace my friend.

Oh Jeff, you are ahead of me again! There you are, bicycling in heaven with Christ, and I am still down here spinning my pedals, remembering the times we spent together on our bikes. And the times we spent together at our singles fellowship, and at Monadnock Bible Conference. Great memories.
Jeff, are a good servant and friend, will cycle with you when I get called Home.

R.I.P Jeff. I look forward to meeting up with you on the day my journey is over. You will be missed. Although my heart aches for the loss of you, I rejoyce in the vision of you in the Lords arms. I can almost see you enjoying the adventures that you will be discovering in the heavenly realm. Mountains to climb, trails to walk, cities to explore. I’m a little envious. Till we meet again my friend. In the meantime save a spot in your dance card for me…oxoxoxoxxo

Dave, Tina, Eric, Korena and the Entire Maxwell Family,
We were so saddened by the sudden passing of your loved one, Jeff. We have fond memories of the times when the Brunos and the Maxwells got together. I remember the times that we traveled to the cottage at York Beach and what fun we had while visiting with the family. I remember one evening at the cottage when Jeff shared all his stories behind his baseball memorabilia. He was definitely the best baseball fan I have ever met. May you find comfort in your many memories and may your faith bring you strength. Now Heaven as two Jeffreys. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. We wish we lived closer so we could be there to offer support. Know that we are thinking of you with heartfelt sympathy.

Jeff was my hiking, biking, disc golfing, snow shoeing, X-country skiing and photography buddy. I will remember our adventures fondly. I also know a lot more about England because of him. I will miss him greatly, especially his sarcastic wit, which was a match for mine. Rest in peace, my friend, ’til we meet again. <3 Sheila
