Erin affected so many people in a positive fashion during her abbreviated time with us. Family members are overwhelmed by the touching tributes. The void in all of our lives is gut-wrenching. The unfathomable loss of such a gentle and caring soul has left us feeling emotionally bereft and forlorn. The public’s sincere empathy has been greatly appreciated.

Jessi Colter and Shooter Jennings best expressed the magnitude of grief in their song PLEASE CARRY ME HOME. (This song is a tribute to the late Waylon Jennings from his above mentioned wife and son.) Those of you who have experienced the depths of despair will identify with the lyrics.

    With heartfelt gratitude,
    Erin’s Aunt Rhonda

I will miss Erin and her sunny personality forever. The absence of our early morning texts and phone calls have left such a void. SHE WAS,IS,AND ALWAYS WILL BE SO LOVED. Time will never change that reality.

I don’t think I have come to terms with the fact that she’s gone. The Earth seems so lifeless without Erin. When she smiled, her whole face lit up! She cared for my son like he was her own in PREK. I can still see her sitting on the floor reading book after book to any child who wanted her to, and she was great for me to have as a coworker in my classroom. I know this is just one tiny moment in the life of Erin, but it’s very significant to me and my son. I’m so sorry for your loss. Truly, Erin is gone too soon! When the sun is blinding us with it’s glorious rays, we’ll know she is flashing her beautiful smile and fluffing up those angel wings of hers so we know she is with us. God Bless your family all in this time of sorrow.
